My name is Dhanunjaya, and I hail from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. I completed my degree in Aeronautical Engineering with dreams of soaring high in the sky and building an extraordinary life and career abroad. However, everything changed when my Nana, Lord Shiva, intervened. He had a different plan for me — a divine purpose that I am now committed to fulfilling for a lifetime.
To this day, I have no idea where this boundless energy, enthusiasm, and determination come from. It is all the blessings of Lord Shiva.
I am just a normal person with no prior experience in construction, working with rocks, or building roads. Yet, here I am, clearing paths, moving stones, and working tirelessly to create a road for the Amaralingeshwara Kona temple. Every step of the way, Lord Shiva guides me, teaches me, and protects me.
This is not just physical labor; it’s a spiritual journey. Lord Shiva chose me for this sacred task, and I am humbled by His trust. With His strength, I overcome every obstacle, determined to make the Amaralingeshwara Kona temple known to the world. This is my calling, and I will not let this divine opportunity slip away.
This timeline outlines the significant events, renovations, and milestones that have shaped the temple throughout the years.
These photos capture the temple and its pathway as they appeared in the past. They showcase the initial state of the area before the improvements and development that took place over the years. Take a look at how the temple and the way to it looked back then.
The Old Temple Path - This is how the path to the temple looked before the bridge was built. People used this route for many years.
Before the Cement Steps - This is what the hill looked like before we built the cement steps. Climbing was much harder back then.
Rama Lingeshwara Temple Site (Before) - This is how the area looked before the Rama Lingeshwara Temple was built. It was very different from what you see today.
The Stone Path to the Temple - This was the original path to the temple, where people walked on uneven stones to reach the sacred site.
Kamakshi Amma Temple Site (Before) - This is how the area looked before the Kamakshi Amma Temple was built. It was a simple, untouched space.
Rainy Season Challenges - During the monsoon, the path would often get blocked by heavy water flow, making it difficult to reach the temple.
Before commencing all the construction work, Anand Anna, Yellapa, and I performed Bhoomi Pooja at the temple on the auspicious day of Varalakshmi Vratham. This ritual was conducted to seek blessings for the success of all the upcoming developments at the temple.
The path to the temple was dangerous—uneven stones made people slip and fall. I wanted to build cement steps but had no money, no help, and no experience. Still, I trusted Nana (Lord Shiva) and took the first step.
We carried 200 sand bags half a kilometer into the forest, sometimes even using my bike. It took three months to move everything. When we started, I didn’t know how to build steps, but Nana guided us. In three days, we set the rocks, and in two more days, we laid the cement. Now, the steps are safe for everyone, all thanks to Nana’s blessings.
Before the Work (2021) - The temple path was dangerous—uneven stones made it hard to climb, and people often slipped and fell.

Before and After - What was once a risky climb is now a safe and sturdy path, all thanks to Nana’s blessings.
The path to the temple was full of stones, making it difficult for vehicles to pass. The sharp turns were dangerous, as we couldn’t see if animals or obstacles were ahead. I decided to make the road straight and wider, so people could travel safely and confidently.
The Work Began: We started by clearing the grass, cutting small plants, and removing stones. It was hard work, but with determination and Nana’s (Lord Shiva’s) blessings, we kept going. After four months of effort, the road was finally clear for everyone to walk safely
This is the old photo: The path was covered with stones and waste plants, making it difficult and dangerous to walk.

By 2024, we dug the soil and poured it over the stones to create a smoother path, making it easier for people to walk
This is how it looked before and after: What was once a rough and risky path is now a clear and safe walkway, all thanks to Nana’s (Lord Shiva’s) blessings and our hard work.
This is how the path existed before - It was a narrow trail where only one person could walk at a time. The dense plants and stones made it impossible to see what was ahead, creating a risky journey.
The Work Began - We started by cutting the plants from the root level and clearing all the stones. Then, we poured red soil on top to create a smoother and safer path for everyone to walk.

In 2021, heavy rains caused massive destruction, blocking the only way to the temple. The strong water flow carried huge stones onto the path and created a deep hole in the road. Walking to the temple became impossible, as the water was too fast and dangerous.
We knew that just fixing the road was not enough—we had to stop this from happening again. First, we found out where the water was coming from and redirected it to a different path. Once the water was controlled, we started the real work. For two long months, we carried heavy stones from far away and filled the giant hole step by step. After filling all the gaps, we covered the road with red soil to make it strong and safe.
This was not just about repairing a road—it was about making sure people could reach the temple without fear. Today, the path is clear and strong, ready to welcome every visitor with ease.
Before – The Damage - In 2021, Heavy rains in 2021 caused massive water flow, completely blocking the temple pathway. The powerful currents washed away the existing route, leaving behind a deep hole and making access nearly impossible.
Clearing the Path – The First Step: To begin restoration, we cleared overgrown plants and laid large stones as a foundation. This was just the start of a long and challenging process.
Filling the Hole – A Test of Strength: With great effort, we transported and placed a mix of large, medium, and small stones into the hole. It took weeks of hard work, carrying heavy rocks from distant places to ensure a strong base.
Final Touch – Making It Walkable: Once the hole was completely filled, we layered it with red soil to create a smooth and sturdy walking path. This final step took over a week, ensuring the road was safe and accessible.
Now – A New Road, What was once a dangerous, impassable route is now a strong and stable road leading to the temple, ready to withstand future challenges.
After fixing the big hole, we faced another challenge. Water from a nearby mountain was flowing through a different channel, cutting across the path. We needed a way for people to walk and vehicles to pass—without blocking the water’s natural flow.
At first, we thought of building a cement bridge, but due to a lack of resources, we had to find another way. That’s when we decided to build the bridge using stones. It was an incredible effort—we carried massive stones, each weighing half a ton, from distant places, carefully placing them to form a strong and steady path.
It took nearly two months of hard work, but in the end, we didn’t just build a bridge—we created a brand-new road to the temple, making the journey easier and safer for everyone.
Before – Water Blocking the Path, The old path to the temple was constantly flooded by water, making it difficult to walk or drive.
Laying the Foundation - We started by digging the base of the mountain and laying a strong foundation with stones. It took about a month to prepare the ground, place rocks, and break stones.
Building the Bridge - To ensure vehicles could pass safely without stopping the water flow, we placed huge stones—each weighing half a ton—for added strength..
Final Touch – Smooth Pathway, Once the structure was strong, we covered it with red soil to create a smooth and stable road for easy walking.
Now – A New Road, The once-damaged path is now completely rebuilt, providing a safe and solid way to the temple.
The idea of building the Kamakshi Amma Temple was not ours—it was a calling from the divine. For months, I experienced mystical signs, guiding me toward something sacred. Seeking clarity, we turned to Lord Shiva, and the message was clear—it was time to build a home for Kamakshi Amma.
With faith, we began the work, raising the land by six feet using stones and soil, a task that took three months of effort and hard work. Once the foundation was ready, we built a strong steel shed to shelter Amma and constructed steps for easy access.
What began as a divine whisper is now a sacred space of devotion, built with faith, perseverance, and the blessings of the Lord.
The Land Before Construction - The land where the Kamakshi Amma temple stands today was once uneven and low. The people in the old photo stood on what is now the raised base of the temple. Back then, it was just an open area covered with rocks and soil, with no sign of a temple.
Strengthening the Foundation - To create a strong foundation, we filled the entire area with medium and large stones. This was a difficult task, as we had to carry heavy stones from far away and place them carefully to ensure stability. Once the stones were in place, we dug up red soil and spread it over the entire area. This helped level the ground and made it smoother and firmer for walking. The whole process took months of effort and dedication.
Building the Iron Shed - After preparing the foundation, we dug deep holes and poured concrete to create a strong base for the shed. Then, we built an iron shed with durable materials to protect Kamakshi Amma and provide a safe space for worship.
Then and Now - The place that was once an empty, uneven land is now a beautiful and sacred temple. What seemed impossible at first became a reality through hard work, determination, and divine guidance.
Deep in the forest, a Shiva Lingam lay forgotten—stolen from its original place and discarded like it had no value. For months, I watched, hoping someone would restore it, but no prayers, no pooja, no abhishekam—just silence. It melted my heart to see it neglected.
I knew this was not just a coincidence; it was a calling. With faith, I took the Lingam and placed it near the temple, waiting for a divine sign on when and how to honor it properly. That moment came on the Ayodhya Rama Pratishta day—a sacred day that made it clear it was time to act.
But the land was rough, filled with rocks and deep gaps. It was nearly impossible to reach the Lingam. So, we worked hard—removing stones, filling gaps, and leveling the ground, preparing a place worthy of Lord Shiva. Now, where once there was only abandonment, stands a sanctuary of devotion—a reminder that nothing is ever truly lost when faith leads the way.
Bringing the Lingam to the Place - This is the spot where we brought the Lingam to be placed. It was a special and sacred moment. After bringing it, we knew the area needed to be cleaned and prepared properly before any construction could begin.
Clearing the Area - Before starting the construction, we removed unwanted plants, rocks, and debris to make the ground even. This was important to ensure a strong foundation and a clean space for worship. Once the area was cleared, we poured red soil over the surface. This made the ground smooth and firm, making it easy for people to walk and move around comfortably.
Constructing the Iron Shed - After preparing the land, we built a strong iron shed for Lord Rama Lingeshwara. This shed was made with durable materials to provide shelter and protection for the deity, ensuring the temple remained safe in all weather conditions.
